We’re Carissa and Corbin! The heart, hands, and hustle behind Nizhoni.

What started as a few handmade beaded pieces, to silver rings, to bracelets, right from our kitchen table and it has become a reflection of everything we believe in: family, culture, creativity, and soulful and intentional living. Nizhoni boutique, isn’t just a boutique, it’s our lifestyle. It’s the way we show up in the world. It’s the beauty we create from the inside out.

We’re a husband-and-wife team, Navajo and non-Navajo, blending tradition and passion in every piece we offer.  From handcrafted jewelry and apothecary goods to fresh Navajo tacos at our local pop-ups. Together, we’re raising four beautiful kids and building a life that honors both our roots and our dreams.

Our boutique is rooted in intention. Every piece is made to tell a story, hold meaning, or spark a little magic in your everyday life. Our Navajo tacos? Made with love, community, and deep family tradition. Our journey? Imperfect, Real, Raw, Authentic and fueled by belief, creativity, and a whole lot of hustle.

About Carissa

Hi, I’m Carissa, A creative soul, mama of four, truth-teller, healer, and the heartbeat behind Nizhoni.

I’m not just a jewelry designer, or small business owner. I’m a woman who's been through a lot, healed through even more, and decided to build a life that feels like freedom.

I started this journey with a vision: to create beauty with meaning, things people can wear, products people can use, or experience that make them feel connected, cared for, and seen. What began as a few handmade pieces on the side has grown into a lifestyle brand built from love, culture, and the chaos of real life.

I believe in honoring tradition without being trapped by it. I believe in healing, in showing up even when it's messy, and in trusting that our stories are what make us powerful. Every product I create, whether it's a bracelet, balm, or beauty item. It carries a piece of that belief.

I’m married to an incredible Navajo artist who brings his own heritage and hands to the work we do. Together, we’re raising our family, running our businesses, and living out our dream one imperfect, beautiful day at a time.

About Corbin

I’m Corbin, a Navajo artist, husband, father, and someone who finds peace in creating with my hands.

I was raised with a deep connection to my culture and traditions. From a young age, I learned that everything we do and make holds energy, a purpose, a story, a prayer. That belief guides everything I create, whether it’s art, jewelry, or simply the way I live each day with intention.

Working alongside my wife has been one of the greatest gifts. Together, we’ve built a life rooted in creativity, family, and heritage. I never imagined how healing and fulfilling it would be to share our journey. Our wins, our struggles, and the beautiful things we make with ourselves and with others.

I’m passionate about keeping tradition alive while blending it with who we are now. Whether I’m crafting something by hand, teaching our kids, or dreaming up new ideas for our future, it all comes back to living in alignment with purpose and love.
